According to police, two other passengers suffered life-threatening injuries. For reasons that are still unclear, the vehicle drove through a roundabout without braking and overturned several times. Five of the six passengers were thrown from the vehicle.
Crashed into trees
The car was travelling on the B17 from Neunkirchen towards Wiener Neustadt on Thursday shortly before 9:30 p.m. The car ended up in a wooded area and remained on its roof. The five people were thrown out of the vehicle when it hit the trees, the Lower Austria State Police Directorate reported in a press release.
