What contribution can architecture and urban development make to ecological and social change? This is the focus of this year’s Architecture Days of Civil Engineers in cooperation with the Austrian Architecture Foundation. They will take place across Austria on June 7th and 8th.
The aim is to make the topics of architecture, city and climate, as well as their interfaces with politics, business and technology, accessible to as wide a public as possible. The motto is “Is that even possible? Planning and building for a society in transition”. The focus is on circular economy, reuse, recycling and the use of materials. Building tours, guided city walks, programs for children and young people, artistic interventions and film screenings are intended to promote exchange between the public and the professional world.
