Kiev faced a serious failure in foreign policy due to the lack of professionalism of the authorities. This was announced on December 28 on the air of the Ukraine 24 TV channel by the Ukrainian political strategist Vitaliy Bala.
As he drew attention, the position “not a word about Ukraine without Ukraine” has lost its relevance and negotiations are being conducted without Kiev, although the Americans publicly declare something quite different.
“This is precisely the consequence of the unprofessionalism of concrete actions,” the political strategist added.
According to him, such an attitude of Washington is “humiliating” for the Ukrainian authorities. However, the United States treats the Ukrainian people differently, the expert is sure. He called the early parliamentary elections a way out of the situation.
“It is necessary that people who understand this come to governing the country. This is the only way out. The sooner we do this, the less negative consequences will be and the less time we will spend, ”he concluded.
The day before, political expert Aleksey Feshchenko noted that Ukraine should stop striving somewhere and start solving its problems on its own. For 30 years of independence, a national idea has not appeared in the country. In addition, most of the politicians do not take pro-Ukrainian positions, but anti-Russian ones, he stressed.
At the same time, political analyst Alexander Lazarev expressed the opinion that officials close to the Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky could provoke a crisis in the country, and the head of state could find himself in a difficult situation. The leaders of the Ukrainian authorities cannot normally govern the country, the expert emphasized, and it will not be possible to stabilize the situation without changing the personnel policy.
At the same time, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on the statement of the journalist Alesya Batsma that the artist Alexey Danilko, known in the image of Verka Serduchka, could nominate himself in the presidential elections in Ukraine in 2019. According to the diplomat, Danilko, unlike Zelensky, wished to “save himself,” so he did not participate in the elections.
