The real salary grew again and remains above the pre-pandemic

In the last year, the increase in income was greater in the private sector, with an average real increase of 5%, while in the sector state The real increase was much lower, just 2.8%.

How have the salaries of the different areas advanced?

According to the INE report, in the private sector the strong nominal increase that has been registered in the construction, with an advance of 12.2%, which – discounting the inflation figure – translates into a real increase of more than 8%. At the same time, sectors such as teaching and the industry They had real increases of more than 5% in the moving year to April.

All sectors registered by the INE had real increases.
