According to police, their bodies were found on Monday morning in a single-family home in Tirpersdorf in Vogtland. The victims are an 85-year-old man, his 84-year-old wife and their 59-year-old daughter. A 28-year-old man had alerted the police by emergency call. He said he had killed his family, said a police spokeswoman.
The emergency services then found the three bodies. Any help came too late, explained the police spokeswoman. According to investigators, the 28-year-old is the grandson or son of the victims. He was arrested at the crime scene without resistance. The background to the crime was initially unclear. In the morning, forensic technicians secured the crime scene.
