The police are looking for witnesses after a traffic accident in the municipality of Gaspoltshofen (Grieskirchen district): A 47-year-old e-bike rider was injured in a fall in a roundabout on the B135. The man had entered the roundabout at around 6:10 a.m. and wanted to turn towards the town when his rear wheel was hit by a silver small car and he fell.
According to the cyclist, the car had come from the direction of Bachmanning and continued towards Haag am Hausruck after the accident. The young driver stopped briefly and asked about the condition of the accident victim. The 47-year-old, who had not realized that the black-haired, slim man was the driver, refused help, which is why the driver continued on his way without disclosing any details. Witnesses who can provide information about the accident should contact the Haag am Hausruck police station on 059133/4233-100.
