Rescue helicopters, emergency doctors, paramedics and police were deployed in the municipality of Kremsmünster (Kirchdorf an der Krems district) on Wednesday morning after a serious traffic accident occurred on the B122. A motorcyclist (28) collided with the car of a 21-year-old driving in front of him when both attempted to overtake at the same time.
Thrown several meters through the air
The force of the impact threw the two-wheeler and the handlebars several meters through the air. The 28-year-old was found seriously injured and ended up lying in a nearby field.
