A 52-year-old man from the Braunau district’s motorcycle ride ended up in hospital on Saturday. The man was travelling on the Upper Innviertel state road L503 from Mattighofen towards Pischelsdorf am Engelbach at around 1:15 p.m. when he made a serious driving error near the village of Oberlindach in the municipality of Schalchen (Braunau district).
Probably due to carelessness, he came onto the right-hand verge, lost control of his bike and fell. He sustained such serious injuries that he had to be taken to the Salzburg Accident Hospital by the “Christophorus 6” rescue helicopter, police said on Saturday afternoon.
