ROHRBACH-BERG. The Rohrbach Clinic and the School of Health and Nursing in Rohrbach are expanding their offerings and giving people who are interested in a nursing career an insight into the clinic’s various work areas. Practical and taster days provide an opportunity to gain initial experience of this profession.
On practical days in the clinic, interested parties have the opportunity to get to know different areas of a clinic and thus gain initial insights into a possible future job. The School of Health and Nursing at the Rohrbach Clinic offers interested parties the opportunity to actively participate in a training day on the trial days. Interested parties are intended to be inspired to work in the clinic. The offer is aimed at both young people and adults who want to change careers. “We notice that there is great interest in the nursing profession and want to respond to this with appropriate offers in the training and practical areas,” says Johanna Reisinger, deputy nursing director at the Rohrbach Clinic. For a day, participants slip into the clinic’s work clothes and, accompanied by employees, gain an insight into various areas such as the operating room, dialysis area and first aid unit with plaster room as well as an individually selected department. “After the previous events, we noticed that these practical days are met with great interest and have therefore expanded the list of dates and offers,” says Reisinger. Observation days at the Rohrbach Clinic are planned for June 27th and October 31st. There will be another trial day at the Rohrbach School of Health and Nursing on June 18th.
