A festival for all age groups awaits visitors this Saturday in the town centre of Perg. City councillor Boris Mitterlehner and city council employee Petra Gschwandtner have put together a programme that ranges from contributions from Perg schools and clubs to performances by music groups and show acts on the stage in the main square.
The offer for children is particularly extensive: MÜKIS bouncy castle and wobbly hill pass the time, as does making treasure chests or searching for mice in the church rally.
Emergency services are also involved
Emergency services are also prominently represented at the Unicorn Festival: While the Red Cross carries out resuscitation exercises, the volunteer fire department presents its new rescue vehicle. The Perg police exhibit police cars and motorcycles. Children can also try out how to take fingerprints. At “Coffee with Cops” the officers take time to talk to visitors.
Another highlight of the festival is the official handover of the millstone monument by Harald Marschner, chairman of the Steinbrecherhaus association, to Mayor Anton Froschauer at 5 p.m. The innkeepers on the main square will take care of the physical well-being of the visitors around the festival stage, providing them with food and drinks. The event begins at 3 p.m.
