Extremely drunk: Motorcycle police officer stopped drunk driver in Mühlviertel

The 44-year-old was noticed on the Eschelberg state road shortly before 8 a.m. He was coming from Herzogsdorf towards Rottenegg. Because he had swerved across the middle of the road several times, the motorcycle policeman driving behind him stopped him. The subsequent breathalyzer test revealed why the driver no longer had control of his car: This showed a blood alcohol level of 2.5 per mille.

The man from the Urfahr-Umgebung district was no longer allowed to drive. However, the police could not take away his driving license: he did not have it with him.
