The press release from the FPÖ Bad Ischl local group is just under three A4 pages long. It was written by local councillor Harald Kotschy, who writes of “citizen harassment”, “total social transformation” and the destruction of “the institution of marriage and family”. But what is it actually about?
As reported, around 2,000 participants came together on Saturday for the first Pride in the Salzkammergut in Bad Ischl. A colorful, loud, but peaceful procession through the imperial city, which was intended to set an example for tolerance and diversity. It was about understanding for queer people. In other words, for those people who are not heterosexual, but gay, lesbian, bisexual, transsexual or intersex. For the organizers, this “Pride” was particularly important in rural areas because there are still far too many “derogatory comments and open rejection of gender and sexual diversity”.
The FPÖ Bad Ischl speaks of an event that was “moderately Salzkammergut-like”, but the Freedom Party was not at all happy with it. Quite the opposite: The “LGBTIQ+” movement is a “collective movement of all forces that want to eliminate the existing cultural order and use the lifestyle of cultural homosexuality for this purpose”. The aim is “total social transformation through the destruction of all bourgeois elements in society, in particular the institution of marriage and family.”
“Barely noticeable minority”
But the Freedom Party is even clearer: The movement, a “small, statistically barely noticeable minority” celebrates its “gender identity” and sexual orientation in front of the intimidated, silent majority. Mother Nature is essentially being abolished.
The “circus production” is not necessary at all, because “lesbians and gays” are already completely equal in every respect in Austria and have been for a long time – namely since the deletion of the provisions on “fornication against nature” from the penal code in 1971.
It is therefore simply about the “cultural homosexualization” of society as a whole. To achieve these goals, the movement does not shy away from “abusing the weakest members of our society, children and young people, for its own purposes.”
The Freedom Party speaks of “transvetite readings” and of “children who are confronted with men in SM leather look and dog masks”.
And the cultural capital? “Cultural Marxist”. With the aim of “softening the bourgeois, traditional understanding of culture in rural areas and displacing it with big-city cultural initiatives propagated by the left-wing zeitgeist.”
