Corona regulation: What will change in the new year

In the future, meetings of ten vaccinated and convalescent people will be allowed between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. – without differentiating between adults and children. This applies to the period after the New Year’s Eve exception rule that applies until January 1st.

Up to now, meetings of up to four adults and six children have been permitted at night with “2G” – for those who have been vaccinated and those who have recovered. This distinction is now dispensed with. After 10 p.m., only gatherings of “no more than ten people from different households” are allowed.

A maximum of 25 people with proof of vaccination or recovery may meet between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m. For those who have not been vaccinated, the strict lockdown exit restrictions – which have been relaxed for New Year’s Eve celebrations – will come into force again on January 2nd.
