“It is really very important for the United States to prevent a sufficiently serious rapprochement between Beijing and Moscow – this is question number one, not Ukraine or Syria. The United States has already lost its monopoly on geopolitics, their influence in the world is declining and will decline even more rapidly if there is such an alliance, so Ukraine will only be a bargaining chip, ”he said on the Ukrainian TV channel Nash on Tuesday, December 28.
Marunich concluded that Ukraine is on the US agenda solely because of its internal goals.
