A 53-year-old man from Linz was riding his bike on the bike lane of the Danube Bridge on Tuesday at around 7:20 p.m. When a 66-year-old man from the Eferding district was on his bike at the level of the entrance to the stairs to the bridge, he was startled by the 53-year-old who suddenly appeared in front of him.
The 66-year-old lost control of his bike, braked hard and fell. He was seriously injured. The man was taken to Wels Hospital.
