A six-year-old jumped into the pool from a diving platform in the late afternoon. In the water, the child suddenly panicked and threatened to drown in the pool, which was about 1.90 meters deep. Because the child clung to his mother, who was swimming towards him, in a panic, she was also unable to stay above water.

A member of the water rescue team, who was supporting the lifeguard, jumped into the pool and brought mother and son to the edge of the pool. Because both of them had probably swallowed a lot of water, they were taken to the Salzkammergut Clinic in Vöcklabruck after receiving emergency medical treatment.
