The vehicle was locked and the perpetrators smashed the side windows. They stole weapons, ammunition, clothing and a radio from the driver’s cabin. The Carinthian State Criminal Police Office’s investigations were still ongoing.
Between 00:15 and 6:00 the unknown assailants broke into the truck that was parked in front of the cultural center in Althofen. From the driver’s cabin they stole two unloaded assault rifles 77, an empty magazine, a magazine with practice ammunition, a radio, a jacket and a flare gun. The radio was found a short time later by passers-by and returned to the Federal Army.
