A thorn from the belt was stuck in the victim’s head. The Lower Austrian police confirmed a corresponding newspaper report on Saturday. An emergency operation saved the man’s life.
Previously, an argument between several people had escalated. This could be connected to an incident that had occurred a week earlier at Horner Stadtsee. There, a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old girl had been sexually harassed. A police spokesperson explained that several people were involved in both cases. However, a connection could not be confirmed as the course of events is currently being investigated. The police initially did not provide any information on the exact identity of the suspect.
