The 11-year-old girl from Lohnsburg am Kobernaußerwald (Ried im Innkreis district) who was reported missing was found safe and sound on Sunday afternoon at the Pleschingersee in Linz. The girl’s 34-year-old mother had given her telephone number to all the young people in the train station area on Saturday evening. One of these young people then informed her on Sunday that the 11-year-old was at the Pleschingersee. She drove to the lake and met her daughter there. At around 4 p.m. the mother informed the police that her daughter had been found.

Reported missing on Friday evening

The girl was reported missing on Friday evening at around 10:15 p.m. The mother said her daughter had not come home. She was supposed to be home at 9 p.m.

The young woman from Innviertel was last seen by her mother that same evening shortly after 7 p.m. She had fetched the power bank from her room. A short time later, the girl’s cell phone was switched off. A cell phone tracking test was positive – the cell phone was located in the area of ​​Linz’s main train station. Then the signal was lost.
