“The number of burned vehicles is decreasing in comparison with previous years, as well as the number of attacks on the police,” the minister said.
According to him, in 2019, attackers set fire to 1,316 cars. However, the number of those arrested has increased – in 2019 there were 376 of them. 2020 was not included in the statistics due to the curfew.

On New Year’s Eve, about 95 thousand police officers and gendarmes served in France.
In particular, in Paris 779 people were fined for “not wearing a mask” in the context of the coronavirus, including at least 600 people on the Champs Elysees.
