How do you really manage to lead employees? What makes a good leader? And what is the difference between managers and supervisors? Podcast host Elisabeth Eidenberger talks about these questions with behavioral biologist Gregor Fauma in the new podcast episode of “Club der Cleveren”.
“Anyone who is a really good boss knows that you can’t lead from above. How do you do that? By being the first servant, the team’s social worker, so to speak,” says the expert. A good leader can perfectly convey the following: You can have everything from me, but I will need your support at some point and then you have to follow. “So as a manager you spend 95 percent of your time working on your image and your reputation within the team,” explains Fauma. He reveals what happens if you don’t manage to do that in the podcast interview.
