According to Gurten’s sports director Sebastian Dietrich, the ÖFB has now fixed the match date. The match will be played on Friday, July 26, at 6 p.m. in the Klaus Roitinger Stadium. It is expected that advance ticket sales will start soon. The match will start at 6 p.m., meaning that a floodlight failure, as was the case against Rapid in autumn 2023, would probably be manageable.
According to Dietrich, the game between Gurten and LASK will be shown on ORF-Sport-Plus as part of a conference call on television.
