A 58-year-old from the Grieskirchen district was driving his car on Griesbacher Straße L 1126 in Zell an der Pram at 8:35 a.m. He veered off the road to the left and fell over a steep embankment onto a meadow. He came to a stop next to a forest with the engine running.
Since the man was unconscious in the locked vehicle when the first responders arrived, they had to break a window. The 58-year-old was given first aid by the Riedau rescue service and flown to Ried hospital with serious injuries by the Europa 3 rescue helicopter.
