The Bolivian president made a live broadcast through Facebook to send a message to the people.
Bolivian President Luis Arce He spoke with his cabinet on national television. “We need the Bolivian people to mobilize against the coup d’état”he said surrounded by his management team.
Through a live broadcast on Facebook, the Bolivian president denounced: “The country today is facing a coup d’état. “The country once again faces interests for democracy in Bolivia to be truncated.”
“Here is the Government with all his ministers firm here in Casa Grande to stop any coup attempt, any attempt that threatens our democracy,” the president insisted.
Thus, Arce called on the people to mobilize and added: “We cannot allow once again coup attempts to take Bolivian lives“, while ratifying the firmness of the cabinet.
“Long live the Bolivian people!”the president closed his speech.
