Andrés Ojeda wants to invite Yamandú Orsi to join “a campaign command”
For his part, the presidential candidate of Colorado Party (PC)Andrés Ojeda called on Orsi to form a “campaign command” against the plebiscite, as he believes that this should reaffirm his opposition to it.
“It would be good if Yamandú Orsi would answer that question, which he usually doesn’t answer,” said Ojeda in a mocking tone. “This doesn’t admit three positions, it only has two: for and against,” continued the Colorado.
“Those who are against it must be committed to fighting for what they believe in. No corporation can change our opinions, no organization can stop us, no matter how much territorial power it may have,” he said.
Also, the candidate of the National Party (PN), Alvaro Delgadosaid through his X account that the union initiative “confiscates the savings of Uruguayans” and “dynamites the social security system.”
