The ruling party regretted the death of José Pedro Pollak

The former president of State Railways Administration (AFE), Jose Pedro Pollak, He passed away in the last few hours and government leaders sent their condolences for the loss of the leader who submitted his resignation to the public company about a month ago.

Pollak had been diagnosed with cancer and that is why he left the leadership of the company on June 5th. AFE, the one he had assumed in November 2021, when the president Luis Lacalle Pou, ejected from office Miguel Vaczy.

He was a lawyer and leader of the National Party. Previously, he was an advisor to Lacalle Pou and had served on the coordinating teams of Transport and logistics who developed the white government programs, both in 2014 and 2019.
