UN electoral experts analysed Venezuela’s electoral system

The UN panel of electoral experts held a meeting with the foreign minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yvan Gilwho highlighted the “solidity and transparency of the country’s electoral system”This team will be in charge of observing the national elections on July 28, when more than 21 million Venezuelans will be able to elect their next president.

On June 30th, An electoral simulation was held in Venezuela, organized by the National Electoral Council (CNE) as part of the preparations to guarantee transparency and efficiency on the day of the official elections. The various political coalitions that will participate in the elections participated in this test: the ruling Simón Bolívar Great Patriotic Pole and the opposition Democratic Unitary Platform, Hope for Change, First Venezuela, Arepa Digital, Pencil Alliance, Solutions for Venezuela, Focused on the People, Democratic Action and the National Democratic Confederation.
