Urdapilleta said there was no history of a similar attack by these animals, which were in a restricted area of ​​the presidential home, located in a residential neighborhood in Asunción.

The director of Wildlife of the Ministry of the Environment, Frederick Bauer, explained to local media that it was an Axis deer from India and that some specimens were donated to the presidential residence, while others were being raised on a farm in the interior of the country.
