Restructuring in the management of the Innviertel motorcycle manufacturer KTM and its parent company Pierer Mobility AG in Wels: After 14 years on the board of the group, Chief Financial Officer Viktor Sigl (50) is leaving the company. His contract would have run until the end of 2027.

Sigl’s board mandates were “terminated by mutual agreement with the supervisory board,” the listed company Pierer Mobility announced on Thursday evening. The supervisory board thanked him “for his many years of commitment.” The separation at management level took place yesterday, and Sigl will remain employed for a while until the handover takes place, according to information provided in response to an inquiry.

The 67-year-old CEO Stefan Pierer will take over Sigl’s responsibilities on an interim basis. The supervisory board has also decided to appoint Gottfried Neumeister (47) as a member of the board of directors of Pierer Mobility AG and KTM AG as of September 1. He should support the CEO’s agenda, i.e. Pierer. Neumeister held senior positions at the caterer Do & Co from March 2012 to June 2023, including as co-CEO. He had previously founded the airline flyniki together with Niki Lauda and was managing director there until it was sold to Air Berlin.
