On Thursday, two workers (52 and 57 years old) crossed the road at a construction site in Senftenbach directly in front of a wheeled excavator that was on its way to the rubbish dump. The 35-year-old driver hit one of the two workers and drove over his left foot.
The 52-year-old was injured. After receiving emergency medical treatment, the man was taken to the Salzburg University Hospital by rescue helicopter.
