The UTC Grein/ASKÖ Schwertberg tennis team had a run of success that was hardly thought possible in the last men’s 60 team championship: in the East regional league, there were no fewer than seven wins and one draw in eight games. The championship title was the logical consequence of a solid team performance.
If you look back a year, the tennis veterans’ track record is even more impressive: Since its founding in 2023, the team has been undefeated and has won an incredible 64 matches in the two championship years. In the coming season, the team will play in the Oberliga – Upper Austria’s highest division – and compete against the best teams in the country.
