In the midst of the consternation, wounded by a bullet in his ear as he confirmed after being treated by the doctors, the tycoon once again made use of his media expertise and knew that whatever his reaction would be the image that would travel around the world. He did not hesitate. He was strong, combative.
The contrast with the weakened Joe Biden is now total. To the evident physical fragility of the Democratic president, are added the increasingly recurrent errors in his speeches. The candidate for reelection also faces requests from all sectors to resign his candidacy and thus give a chance to the Democratic Party to win the elections in October. Does it matter now?
You might think that such an attack would put Trump in the awkward position of condemning the flexible policies of gun control in the United States. It does not appear that the former president or his team will take that path.
The first signs from the Republican Party place Biden himself as the instigator of the assassination attempt (that is how the attack was classified by investigators).
