Tuesday evening at 7:33 p.m., the LFK reported the fire in a garden hut in Bad Ischl. The fire was noticed by a neighbor who could hear fire noises and smoke development. 35 emergency services from the Pfandl fire brigade and 40 emergency services from the Bad Ischl main fire station went to the fire site. When the fire brigade arrived, the garden shed was already in full fire.
The emergency services managed to bring the fire under control within a short period of time. The spread of the flames to other objects could be prevented. The amount of the damage is currently unknown.
The investigations into the cause of the fire are carried out by officers from the Bad Ischl police in cooperation with specialists from the fire prevention office and the district fire investigator. The reason for the fire has not yet been clarified and will be the subject of further investigations.
