The Frankenburg police station, in cooperation with the criminal investigation department in the Vöcklabruck district, has solved several burglaries: Since April, a tobacconist’s, a cultural center and an amusement park have been broken into. Two young men aged 16 and 20 and a 22-year-old woman were identified as suspects. They stole goods and cash with a value in the low five-figure euro range, the police announced on Tuesday.
The trio used the cash to buy a vehicle: a car and three motorcycles that were not registered for road use. During house searches, the police not only seized stolen goods, but also prohibited weapons. After the investigation was completed, the 20-year-old was taken to Wels prison on the orders of the public prosecutor. His two accomplices were reported while they were at large, according to the police.
