Concerts in Tüßling: From Howard Carpendale to Status Quo

Around 3,000 residents live in the Bavarian community of Tüßling in the Altötting district, near the border. Once a year, there is much more going on in Tüßling during the Raiffeisen Cultural Summer than in an average week. In 2022, for example, world star Sting came and thrilled more than 8,500 visitors at Tüßling Castle.

The crowds will be similarly large at this year’s four concert evenings in the castle park. Howard Carpendale and Kerstin Ott will kick things off on Wednesday, July 24th with a double concert. After a day’s break, the Fantastischen Vier will perform on Friday, July 26th. On Saturday, July 27th, well-known Austrian artists Pizzera and Jaus will come to Tüßling. Willy Astor will be a special guest. The two cult bands Status Quo and the Spider Murphy Gang will round things off on Sunday, July 28th. The organizer recommends, if possible, arriving and departing by train. Tüßling train station is only about 400 meters away from the castle on foot. On the days of the event, the station is regularly served by trains from Mühldorf, Burghausen, Simbach am Inn, Pfarrkirchen, Pocking, etc. After the concert (around 11 p.m.), you can also return home by train. There are also plenty of free parking spaces available around the castle park.
Before the concert and from 30 minutes before the end of the concert, only the market square can be used as a delivery and collection area for cars to bring visitors (especially young people) to the concert or to pick them up again. Only designated areas on the market square are available for getting on and off. All further information can be found on the homepage.
