Andrew Ojeda will travel to Buenos Aires tomorrow, on the occasion of participating in the commemorative ceremony for a new anniversary of the terrorist attack against the Argentine Israelite Mutual Association (AMIA)which occurred in 1994. The Colorado candidate received the invitation from the Central Israelite Committee of Uruguay.


Although there is no confirmation that he will hold a formal meeting with any authority from the neighbouring country, the possibility has not been ruled out either.

Ojeda is not the first Uruguayan politician to confirm his participation in the commemorative events for the attack on the AMIA: The candidates who make up the National Party formula also did so, Alvaro Delgado and Valeria Ripolland President Luis Lacalle Pou himself, who will take advantage of the occasion to finally have a bilateral meeting with his Argentine counterpart Javier Milei.
