Tactics, technique, shooting: Police gave insight into operational training

This is what Walter Huber, the deputy state coordinator for operational training at the Vienna State Police Directorate (LPD), promised the participants. The training location was the Police Operational Training Center (ETZ) in Süßenbrunn in Vienna-Donaustadt, which opened in 2022.

20 training hours per year

Vienna. In three hours, the areas of tactics, technology and shooting were partially explained in more detail. The ETZ in Süßenbrunn offers several functional blocks in six versions, five of which are used by the LPD Vienna. 20 training hours per year are scheduled for the law enforcement officers. But their core operational training also consists of shooting training, operational techniques and operational tactics.
