The foreign minister called on the United States and Canada to promote economic growth in the region and highlighted Uruguay’s contribution to renewable energy.

The chancellor Omar Paganini urged to improve the competitiveness, deepen trade integration and expand the reach of investments, when speaking at USA during the Ministerial Meeting of the Alliance for Economic Prosperity of the Americas (APEP).
