On the other hand, the President of the Republic, Luis Lacalle Poudemanded “responsibility” against terrorism during his speech at the commemorative activities.

In his speech, Lacalle Pou stated that “violence, terrorism and attacks do not begin with a physical act” and countered: “They begin with the verb and generally have a petty purpose behind them.”
