Paraglider pilot (61) crashed at St. Pankraz motorway rest stop

The 61-year-old from the Steyr-Land district had taken off with his paraglider on the Höss in Hinterstoder. At 2 p.m. he wanted to land near Hinterstoder train station, but due to the strong wind he crashed to the ground at a motorway service station. He hit the car of a 48-year-old German woman. The 61-year-old was injured and taken to the Pyhrn-Eisenwurzen Clinic in Kirchdorf.
