The former president warned that “unfortunately, the federal government is not updating the data and should campaign so that people continue to be vaccinated, including the youngest.”
In a pointed tone, Lula demanded that Bolsonaro “instead of creating obstacles” accelerate “the vaccination of children, as others in the countries have already done” and called for “a national D-day for children’s vaccines” .
That way, he assured, students will be able to “go back to school with two doses” in the next school year.
“The researchers were quick with the vaccines. The governments of rich nations have been slow to bring them into the arms of all mankind. No country will be protected alone. The richest countries have everything to make the vaccine for everyone and faster than the variants ”, concluded.

Covid cases have increased and what is saving many people is vaccination. We need everyone fully immunized. Many people still haven’t taken the 2nd dose or the booster. If you know someone in this situation, talk to them. #AnoNovoDoseNova

Bolsonaro left the clinic
The head of state left the Vila Nova Star Hospital in the city of São Paulo on Wednesday, where he was admitted for an intestinal obstruction, after his medical team decided that he did not need an operation and discharged him.
“Sign up now, thank you all,” the president announced on his social networks and accompanied the phrase with a photo in the bed of patients surrounded by their doctors.
In the announcement, Bolsonaro was dressed in the Juventus promotion club shirt, from San Pablo, before the clinic issued the official medical report.
