A 59-year-old female driver was driving on the L1061 in the direction of Höhnhart in the evening. At the same time, a 30-year-old female driver from the Braunau district wanted to turn onto the L1061 from Eitzing, also in the direction of Höhnhart.
The approaching 59-year-old driver may have overlooked this, which led to a collision at the intersection.
The 59-year-old came off the road as a result of the collision and fell over a steep embankment about five meters high. The injured driver was taken to Ried Hospital by the Red Cross. The 30-year-old was uninjured in the accident.
Both vehicles were significantly damaged.
