The 20-year-old evaded a traffic check in her car and sped away at high speed. After being stopped, it turned out that the local woman had been driving without a driver’s license and in a dilapidated car. The car also did not have a license plate mounted on the front, the police reported on Monday.
Car not registered
The chase began on Sunday shortly before 7:45 p.m. on the B42. The 20-year-old fled from a patrol car, including massive speeding. The vehicle, which was not registered for traffic and poorly equipped, was finally stopped in Vestenthal, a cadastral municipality of Haidershofen.
20 violations
A rapid drug test was positive. The 20-year-old driver of the car and the owner of the vehicle were reported to the Amstetten district authority for a total of 20 violations. Since the license plate attached to the rear of the car had been reported as lost, a report was also made to the St. Pölten public prosecutor’s office.
