Steyr wins the Alpe Adria Cup

“The warm-up was very good today, I had hoped for even higher heights,” said Lisa Gruber from LAC BMD Amateure Steyr after her flawless jumps at the U23 Alpe-Adria Cup in Pordenone, northern Italy, around 50 kilometers from Udine. “But I had a hard time implementing that in the competition. I’m happy to have won for Austria.”

Gruber jumped 4.10 meters and won gold, as did Austria’s team. She failed at 4.20 meters. “Now I’m looking forward to vacation and ending my season,” says the young woman from Steyr. “After that I want to start building up for the next season straight away, hopefully without any injuries.”
