The man had called shortly before noon and told the employees that he was going to blow up the building. He also wanted to take “vigilante justice”. The police went to the chamber in Graz’s Kaiserfeldgasse, but found no explosive device. The suspect was arrested a short time later near Fernitz in the Graz area, police said on Tuesday.
Brought to prison
The call was received by the Medical Association at around 11:40 a.m. The male voice threatened to bomb the scene. Special forces, however, quickly gave the all-clear. The suspect was quickly tracked down, but he refused to give any information when he was arrested. He was then taken to the Graz-Jakomini prison. The police are still conducting further investigations.
