At around 3:30 p.m., a 54-year-old car driver from the Braunau district was driving on Weilharter Strasse in the direction of Hochburg-Ach. A 69-year-old man coming in the opposite direction swerved his car “for health reasons,” according to the police, and crashed into the 54-year-old’s vehicle.
The woman was injured and taken to the hospital in Braunau after receiving first aid. The 69-year-old Frenchman was uninjured.
