The serious accident occurred on Saturday around 11 a.m. A 67-year-old from Germany was riding a rental motorcycle on the B 38 towards Rohrbach.
In the municipality of Peilstein, the biker came off the road on the right in a tight bend. At the turnoff to Peilstein Nord, the German crashed his motorcycle into the guardrail. The injured man was taken to Passau Hospital by the “Europa 3” emergency helicopter.
