The fire departments of Laakirchen, Steyrermühl, Rutzenmoos and Wiesen were alerted to a rescue operation on the Westautobahn on Saturday afternoon at 12 noon. Operations manager Jürgen Sturm from the Laakirchen fire department reported that the high temperatures made conditions even more difficult.
