STEYR. As recently reported in the Steyrer Zeitung, former SP deputy mayor Willi Hauser, among others, has repeatedly reported senseless acts of destruction in the city. In his case, posters and advertising stands for the music festival and the Theater am Fluss were repeatedly demolished. Eyewitnesses are asked to contact the police. Vorwärts President Markus Knasmüller writes to the OÖN that the SK Vorwärts A stands are also regularly the victims of acts of vandalism and are therefore rarely set up anymore. Other readers report on garbage cans being knocked over and shopping carts being used for other purposes.
