Emergency doctors, rescue services and police were deployed in Ohlsdorf (Gmunden district) late on Monday afternoon. When a 70-year-old local woman tried to drive her car into the garage of her apartment building, an accident occurred at around 4:45 p.m. Because the garage key was in the trunk, the woman had to stop the car in front of the gate and get out – and the disaster took its course: As she got out, the elderly woman fell off the car. In conjunction with a slight incline, the car started to roll, the 70-year-old was pushed to the ground by the open driver’s door and run over by the left front tire. She sustained such serious injuries that she had to be treated by an emergency doctor and then taken to the Salzkammergut Clinic in Vöcklabruck, the police announced on Monday evening.
